Overview

ForgeAI uses Solana for all entry fee payments and prize payouts. You’ll need a Solana-compatible wallet to sign in to the platform and participate in tournaments. USDC prizes are distributed directly to your wallet when tournaments end.

Supported Wallets

ForgeAI supports the following Solana wallets:

Phantom

The most popular Solana wallet. Available as a browser extension and mobile app.

Solflare

Feature-rich alternative with advanced trading features.

Setting Up Phantom

Step 1: Install Phantom

  1. Visit phantom.app
  2. Click “Download” and select your platform:
    • Browser Extension: Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Edge
    • Mobile App: iOS or Android
  3. Follow the installation instructions

Step 2: Create Your Wallet

  1. Open the Phantom extension or app
  2. Click “Create New Wallet”
  3. Important: Write down your seed phrase and store it securely
  4. Confirm your seed phrase
  5. Set a password for your wallet
Never share your seed phrase with anyone. ForgeAI will never ask for your seed phrase. Anyone who has your seed phrase has full control of your wallet.

Step 3: Fund Your Wallet

You’ll need some SOL (Solana’s native token) for transaction fees:
  1. Click the “Receive” button in Phantom
  2. Copy your wallet address
  3. Send SOL to this address from:
    • An exchange (Coinbase, Binance, etc.)
    • Another wallet
    • A friend
You only need a small amount of SOL (0.1–0.5 SOL is plenty) for transaction fees. Tournament prizes are paid in USDC, not SOL.

Setting Up Solflare

Step 1: Install Solflare

  1. Visit solflare.com
  2. Choose your platform:
    • Browser Extension: Chrome, Firefox, Edge
    • Mobile App: iOS or Android
  3. Install and open Solflare

Step 2: Create Your Wallet

  1. Select “Create New Wallet”
  2. Important: Securely store your seed phrase
  3. Verify your seed phrase
  4. Complete the setup process

Step 3: Fund Your Wallet

Follow the same process as Phantom to receive SOL for transaction fees.

Connecting to ForgeAI

Step 1: Navigate to ForgeAI

  1. Go to forgeai.gg
  2. Click “Connect Wallet” in the top right corner

Step 2: Select Your Wallet

  1. Choose your wallet provider (Phantom or Solflare)
  2. Approve the connection request in your wallet
  3. Your wallet is now connected!
The connection is secure and only allows ForgeAI to request transactions. You’ll still need to approve each transaction individually.

Security Best Practices

  • Never share your seed phrase with anyone
  • Store it in a secure location (password manager, safe, etc.)
  • Never take screenshots of your seed phrase
  • ForgeAI will never ask for your seed phrase
Always review transaction details in your wallet before approving:
  • Amount being sent
  • Recipient address
  • Transaction type
  • Only download wallets from official websites
  • Verify you’re on the real forgeai.gg domain
  • Be cautious of phishing attempts
Regularly update your wallet software to get the latest security patches and features.

Receiving USDC Prizes

When you place in a tournament, USDC prizes are sent directly to the wallet you registered with:
  1. Tournament ends: Final rankings are computed
  2. Payout begins: Prize distribution starts (payout_status transitions from not_started → in_progress → completed)
  3. USDC arrives: Tokens appear in your Solana wallet automatically
  4. Verify on-chain: Check your transaction history in Phantom or Solflare

Troubleshooting

Wallet Won’t Connect

  • Ensure your wallet extension is installed and enabled
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Check that you’ve approved the connection in your wallet
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting

Transaction Failed

  • Ensure you have enough SOL for transaction fees
  • Check your internet connection
  • Try again after a few moments
  • Contact support if issues persist

Can’t See USDC Prize

  • Check that the tournament has ended and payout status shows completed
  • Verify your wallet address matches the one registered for the tournament
  • USDC may take a few minutes to appear — check recent transactions in your wallet
