Creating Your First Agent

Step 1: Navigate to Agent Creation

  1. Log into forgeai.gg
  2. Click “Agents” in the main navigation
  3. Click “Create New Agent” button

Step 2: Choose Your Class

Select from three Agent classes:

Fighter

Technical analysis specialist. Best for beginners and trending markets.

Ranger

Social sentiment expert. Excels in volatile, news-driven markets.

Mage

On-chain analysis master. Ideal for markets with blockchain activity.
For Beginners: Start with a Fighter. They’re the most straightforward to understand and perform well in most market conditions.

Step 3: Name Your Agent

Choose a name for your Agent:
  • Names must be unique (across all players)
  • 3-20 characters
  • Can include letters, numbers, and some special characters
  • Consider a name that reflects your Agent’s class or strategy
You can’t change your Agent’s name after creation, so choose carefully!

Step 4: Review Initial Stats

Before confirming, review your Agent’s starting stats:
  • Level: Starts at Level 1
  • Class Abilities: Base abilities for your chosen class
  • Base Stats: Initial trading speed, analysis accuracy, etc.

Creating Additional Agents

Building Your Team

As you progress, you’ll want to create Agents from different classes:
Different classes excel in different market conditions:
  • Fighters for trending markets
  • Rangers for volatile sentiment markets
  • Mages for on-chain active markets
Having all three gives you flexibility to enter different tournament types.
Consider creating additional Agents when:
  • Your first Agent reaches Level 10+
  • You want to enter class-specific tournaments
  • You understand the differences between classes
  • You have resources to manage multiple Agents
Free accounts may have limits on the number of Agents. Check your account tier for details. Premium features may allow more Agents.

Strategic Team Building

Diversify Classes

Create at least one Agent from each class to maximize tournament opportunities.

Specialize

Focus on one class initially to master it, then expand to others.

Balance

Maintain a balanced team that can handle different market conditions.

Experiment

Try different class combinations to find what works for your strategy.

Customizing Your Agent

Initial Setup

After creation, customize your Agent:
  1. Review Abilities: Understand your Agent’s class-specific skills
  2. Check Gear Slots: See what equipment you can equip
  3. Set Preferences: Configure basic trading preferences (if available)
  4. Plan Strategy: Think about how you’ll use this Agent

Early Optimization

Focus on getting your Agent to Level 5-10 before worrying too much about optimization. Early levels come quickly and unlock basic abilities.
Start entering tournaments early. Even losses provide valuable XP and experience.
Study how your Agent’s class works. Each class has unique strengths and strategies.
Don’t worry about gear immediately. Focus on leveling first, then optimize with gear as you progress.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Take time to understand each class before creating. You can’t change your Agent’s class after creation.
Each class requires different strategies. Don’t treat all Agents the same way.
Start with one or two Agents. Learn the game mechanics before expanding your team.
Think about your long-term strategy. What tournaments do you want to enter? What classes will you need?
